Who's Cryin' Now?

Should Emmie be crying?
Or Berklie?
Or, is it Mommy?!
We are seeking a future plastic surgeon for Sweet, princess, Berklie. She went to Scottish Rite for her 2nd round of stitches...1st set a year ago on her mouth, and this time right smack dab in the center of her eyebrows. The plastic surgeon was so sweet and said it would hurt too badly to actually "stitch" in this area, so her Dermabonded (glued) it back together. A little too graphic for pictures...I'll show you when it heals! Berklie was so brave, she really only cried because her bed and dolly were all, shall I say...yucky?!!!!! I,on the other hand....Aunt Dawn, where are you when I need you?!

Baseball and Bubbles

Holy Redeemer played North Cobb Christian School on Wednesday afternoon.
It was a beautiful day! Perfect day for some bubbles!
Wish I knew how to blow bubbles, too! Whose bubbles are bigger?
Mine don't taste very good!
As a matter of fact, they really are quite nasty tasting!
What do you think, guys...do you like our bubbles?!
Stanton even got in on the bubble action!
What do you know?! Here comes Bo!! DADDY!!!! They all yelled and ran to him...priceless!
Wait...the bubbles, snacks, and the boys are this way!
Will someone PLEASE just let me try that popcorn?
Oh, the game is over. Maybe next time, Em!!
Way to go Holy Redeemer..You guys are an amazing group of boys! Final score HR 10, NCCS 1.

Girls Rule! Or Do They?!

Girls rule...boys drool! Not on this soccer team! I am the "only" girl, so I guess that just makes me a REAL princess!

Coach Tori, I have grass in my shirt!

Why am I the only one with a pink ball? There is grass on my shoes!

Brighton doesn't drool, or dribble...he runs as fast as he can and kicks! Wait, our team is the other way, little buddy!! I am getting grass on my new pink socks!

This team came with its very own cheerleader!

Playing soccer is really tough work...time for a little refreshment! There is even grass on my water bottle!

Not too sure about the object of this game, but I know I love my new shoes, pink socks, and shorts. I just wish this grass would stay off of me!
Going in for the goal...she shoots!
She scores because she ends up at the barn!
I think I would rather just go back to the soccer field and my new friends!
Come down here,Kitty...I want to show you my new outfit! Thank goodness it is hay that is on me now...finally got rid of that grass!
The boys would rather just climb on hay bails!
What do you think, Kitty? Do you like my new look?
Yeah...I like that look better too. But every now and then it is good to branch out and try something new, ya know?!
Brighton just wants to ride to irritate me and take my turn away...he has no interest other than the fact that Stafford tells him that horses are "chick magnets!" Whatever that means...

Now we're talking! Trot faster Chardonnay!!
Lets just go ahead and call it a day. Stafford has to go back to baseball anyway.

Not without Em catching a ride first on her "dog-dog?!" No Em, that is a "neigh-neigh!"

Gotta keep your nails pretty Chardonnay! I know, that grass is all over you too! Just be thankful it is not that same grass that was at that soccer field...it sticks everywhere...YUCK!

Real soccer dudes let their boxers hang out, Brighton. Yes, maybe you will take after Daddy and be a really great soccer player!

As for me, I'll play soccer, but my heart is where the horsey is!

Love, Berklie

What'll Ya Have?

We had an appointment at the Archdiocese which just so happens to be across the street from the Varsity. I wasn't actually "planning" on going to lunch there, so I didn't even have my camera. Brighton was a bit overwhelmed by the "yelling" across the restaurant from the employees, was not in his comfort zone, and would not even eat his food. Berklie, of course, is never gonna miss a meal, so she just dealt with this "different" type of restaurant. Emerson was all about the action, people, yelling(one of her favorite past times!), greasy food, and just had a blast! Stafford had never been there before, and I am not too sure he thought is was all that is was cracked up to be...good sights, though. I would have preferred a nice salad at Houstons on Peachtree, but this is where they wanted to go. Oh, Stanton was at school missing all of the fun!
After all that grease, Em just kicked back when we got home.
Brighton...grrr, a tiger, and Berklie...meow, a kitty, had their face painted at Sugar Plum Kids just for a little something to do.
It's another Atlanta tradition....just one that you should do every 10 years!

Top' O The Day!

Top ' O The Morning! Today is the day...those little guys came! They made a mess...brought some gold and tossed it all around!
They threw a roll of paper towel down the stairway...
Yes, indeed, those little guys came in our little door we made for them!
They made us a Saint Patty's Day sign!!
You can even see their little feet and hands...do they walk, or crawl?!
They brought Brighton a "green" truck!
Alas the "pot of gold!" Filled with gold kisses and chocolates...do these guys know our Daddy?!
Berklie had her nails green and white for the occasion. But wait...Our trap!
"The LEPECANS, and I quote, came to our trap!"
They filled the trap with many green treasures to add to our pot of gold!
They even decorated the door!!
They brought some really cool, sparkly shamrock garland!
They made our gallon of milk turn green!
....and our toilets too...did you know that Leprechauns pee green? Well, of COURSE they do!!!
Too excited to take a nap...those little Leprechauns kept making a mess all day long, we could NOT take a nap. We packed up and went to get Stanton and Stafford at school. Stafford had a Holy Redeemer baseball game at Davis Academy in Dunwoody.
We all wore our green, so those little guys didn't pinch us!
We ran and ran trying to simply get a glimpse of a leprechaun, let alone catch one!
No such luck, but our Daddy came to the game and tossed Brighton up in the air and Holy Redeemer won....15-2. We had the best day, ever! Hope yours was as fun!

“May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through."
“May you live as long as you want and never want as long as you live."
“May you always have work for your hands to do. May your pockets hold always a coin or two. May the sun shine bright on your windowpane. May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain. May the hand of a friend always be near you. And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.”

“May God grant you always...A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.”
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!
