Happy 4th of July from the Dunwoody parade!

The Dunwoody 4th of July parade has become a Bill Grant homes tradition for as long as Stanton and Stafford can remember. Here is Uncle Bill driving his tractor...

with the whole Bill Grant gang attached!

Today was a special parade for Brighton and Berklie because it was their "first" one! They were too little last year, and the year before that, they were in my belly in Hilton Head with Stanton and Stafford while Bo attended the parade in Dunwoody.

They were so excited!! They had to wake up extra early...

to have a party on a big wagon?!

Reagan, Aunt Suzanne and Uncle Tom's little girl, was not too sure what kind of party this was either....it is a GREAT one though because there are so many yummy treats on board this float!!

I guess we should all climb aboard!!

and finally...the parade begins!!!

We get to ring bells and throw candy to people!! There is even a little doggy on board...what an amazing ride!!

Look at all of the people behind us!! This is the BEST party ever!!

We even get to have balloons in our face the whole way through this incredible thing Mommy and Daddy told us about!

We know our Uncle Bill was "REALLY" hot driving that big tractor all the way through Dunwoody, but we were really sad that the end was in sight!

But wait......

There was more fun to be had! Reagan invited us to her Mimi and Grandpa's pool at their house...of all the luck!

She even showed us how to be big and brave in the pool and swim all by ourselves!!

Uncle Bill, Reagan and Berklie make plans to get Stanton...

with a noodle!

What a great day we had! Thanks for the swim lesson, Reagan! Next year we will have to show Emerson how to swim in your cool pool!


We fell asleep the minute we got into Daddy's truck....dreaming of next year's parade!
